NOMRI

I went to an orthopedic doctor this week, to see how bad my shoulder is. He did some range of motion tests and strength tests and did think it was too bad anymore. I decided to wait a bit longer before getting an MRI, and he said that would be totally fine. I'm glad my shoulder is slowly getting better, but it annoying that it's not 100% yet. Although, I am shifting with my right arm again, so that's good...

Workout update:
I have done 30 minutes of cardio every time I went to the gym this year. I go every Monday through Thursday, so that's a lot of cardio. I hate cardio so much. I don't know how much longer I can take this, but I want to continue at least for 1 quarter. After that, I'll probably want to change up my goals...

Out of commission

My right shoulder is really messed up now... =( I went snow boarding this weekend, but at the end of one of the runs, I got lazy and I caught my toe side edge, and I flipped and landed really hard on my right shoulder. It hurt a lot, but some people looked at it and didn't think it was broken or dislocated so I just iced it all day. I think it might be a rotator cuff injury, but I'm not going to see anyone unless it gets worse... It hurts when I try to move my arm, which really sucks. Not being able to move my right arm makes it prety hard to do ordinary things, like showering and getting dressed. Crap. I really screwed up, and this sucks. =/

$218.80 + $514.40 = $733.20

That's how much poorer I am at the end of today. However, all of it is snow related... =) I bought plane tickets to Denver, CO, for February 22 - 25, for the snow trip with some Stanford buddies. I also got all my snowboarding gear (board, boots, bindings, bag).

Whew!!!

New year, new focus

I'm changing my workout routine. I will do cardio everytime at the gym along with a little lifting. I will try to lower my resting heartrate because I've never tried to do that before, and it sounds like that's a good thing to do. Since I used to lift 4 times a week, I guess now I'll be doing cardio 4 times a week. Too bad I really really really hate/suck at cardio, but I'll see how long this lasts...
