Nougat and Napa
-Kenny, Will, Alan, Gary and I went to Napa for the day.
-We tasted wine at a bunch of places.
-I got to taste a red wine that was $125 a bottle.
-Kenny's car almost died on us.
-I had steak and creme brulee at a fancy restaurant.
-The weather was gorgeous.
-The word of the day is "nougat". That, or "testicles", but it was banned.
-I learned about the "Macro Mode" on my camera.
-Pictures are here. (I have many random closeups because I was playing with the Macro Mode.)
-Today was a pretty cool day.

Lifting Update
I think I am about the strongest I have ever been. I benched 185 for 5 on my 3rd set, and then for 4 on my 4th set. That's basically what I could do during the summer in Santa Barbara, and I definitely worked out and ate the most during those months. I am around 160, which is 3 more than my usual, so that's kinda cool!! =)
HIIT
I've always heard that High Intensity Interval Training was good, so I did it during the summer and started it back up again. The past couple hours I've been doing some reading on HIIT, and it's actually good!! I didn't make it up or anything. It really is the best way to lose fat, and not lose muscle mass!! Woohoo! =) HIIT will burn more fat in less time, ramp up your metabolism, increase cardiovascular capacity and endurance, improve lactic acid threshold, make you faster, improve oxygen uptake, and make your body less likely to store food as fat. Basically, it does a lot of good stuff. The only bad thing is that it freakin' hurts and I am sooooooo tired afterwards. Since I am doing HIIT with sprinting, it will obviously increase my speed, so that's cool. Here are some cool pages I read:

I think I'll continue doing HIIT in my workouts, especially since other people are willing to do it with me... =)
