Recovering...

So, I got elbowed in the head playing basketball on Saturday night. I didn't think it was too bad at the time, but later that night, I started feeling worse. We went out to eat, but I didn't really feel like eating, even though I only at cereal and an apple all day. I felt pretty sleepy, so I went to bed at 10PM. The next morning, I did not feel like getting out of bed everytime I woke up. I probably fake woke up like 6 times, until I just forced myself up at 11:40AM. That was like 14 hours of sleep!! Whatever my problem was, I felt like complete crap all of Sunday. I could tell something was wrong, because it took me FOREVER to finish my Kashi cereal. It was mush by the time I finished. =( I had to force myself to eat everything that day, took some advils and was basically useless the entire day (am I ever useful??). When the drugs kicked in, I actually felt like eating a little bit, so that was good. I got like 10 hours of sleep that night, and on Monday was a little better. I still had to take the drugs because I still felt like crap. I don't like taking drugs. Eating wasn't so easy, so I just had to force it all down. =/ I got through Monday without much activity or thinking. Today, I took NO drugs. I felt a LOT better, but I know I'm not 100% yet. I could eat my bland Kashi cereal with no problems, ate a normal lunch, ate a normal dinner, had a meeting with the professor I do research for, and solved the Rubik's Cube twice; once in 14 minutes and again in 9 minutes! (woohoo for cool career fair toys!!)

Now, I have no idea what happened to me, but people say it could have been a concussion. However, I never passed out, I never forgot the events leading up to the blow, and I didn't feel like total crap immediately after getting hit. Whatever, all I know is that I feel better now, and that's posi. =)

My website has been down for the last couple of days, because the bandwidth was exceeded for the month of January. I don't really know how that happened, since I don't really have much of interest to random people. I guess people could be finding my pictures on search engines, but 500mb in a month seems like a lot. O well, this just means I have to be less lazy and migrate over to my own web server sooner. But, don't count on it. I'm lazy, and have to make 15 penguins.

Mulling Over Offers

At this point in time, I have 2 job offers to consider: Oracle and Google. I still have to review the offer and benefits carefully before making a decision. Any suggestions?? I have 2 weeks to decide.

Now, I'm going snowboarding!! I've had 2 weeks of school so far, and I haven't done anything, except attempt to knit a penguin...

2 Hours Upside Down

Last night, I was practicing handstands for 2 hours! I didn't feel too tired then, but this morning, my shoulders did not want to move. My shoulders have not been this sore in a very long time. I better get some big, strong shoulders after this quarter! =)

How to lose 5 pounds in 7 days

Just go home for break, eat lots of food, watch TV, and be completely lazy. Then, go back to school, weigh yourself and find that you gained like 4 pounds. Then, just workout a little bit, maybe like 4 times, and eat "normal" amounts of food. After 7 days, weigh yourself again, and you'll be 5 pounds lighter. It worked for me! It can work for you! =)

Believe it or not, I have started to learn how to knit!! (just like andycal!) It's actually kinda fun. I've learned the basic crap and now I'm just messing around to practice the procedures. My ultimate goal is to make this penguin. Isn't it awesome?!?! You know you want one. =) If I can actually make it, and if you ask me nicely, maybe I'll give you one. But no guarantees; it looks freakin' hard.

2 More Quarters...

Tomorrow is the start of the 2nd to last quarter of my education! Then I get to start working and dig myself out of my debt! I have realized that I cannot find anymore CS classes that interest me anymore. I don't know if that's just because there aren't any left, or I just don't feel like taking classes anymore. I even looked into other majors like EE and Math, but nothing seems too fun. I will be taking gymnastics this quarter, that should be fun!! Hopefully, I can do back flips and walk on my hands by the end of the quarter.

When I graduate, I will be buying a car. I think I'll be getting the Mazda 3. It's pretty cheap, looks cool, and drives pretty well. It definitely feels better than the Civic, and the Civic is supposed to be "the best" economy car. The 3 definitely gets extra points for not being a Civic, since there are way too many people with that car. Now, the issue is: should I learn to drive stick, and get the manual transmission?? =)
