Annoyed...

Why does my aptmate have to sing/talk to himself at 6 in the morning? This isn't even the first time either... For someone who is rarely home, he really has a lot of the strangest annoying habits ever (flushing problem and sponge issue). The weird thing is, I don't know if I actually got up to tell him to stop singing, or if I just did that in my dream or something. ugh, I'm gonna be tired today... argh. argh. argh. argh. blah.

Rafting

I took yesterday day off and went rafting with Grace and Lian!! =) We went to the South Fork American River which was like 3 hours away. The raft was just us 3, some other random guy, and our guide, Alejandro. The guide was sooo great!! He knew a lot about the river even though he is from Costa Rica and this was his first season in CA. He also looked a little and spoke a little like Antonio Banderas! hehehe... He also said "That is cool." a lot, which was cool! =) He was a real nice guy and very good to have as a guide. No one fell out and we got through all the hard parts pretty flawlessly! The rafting was really fun and it beat whatever it is I do... O yeah, program... For dinner I had steak!! =) It was the best meal I had ALL summer, since I've been doing this stupid workout out/diet plan.

Friday was a very good day, and I think it was even sweeter since I skipped work. =)

I Miss TV!!

So, I went to Fry's because I was looking for something, but as I was walking around, the TVs pulled me in. Not only because I miss having a tv, but I also miss watching football!!! They were showing 2 preseason games of the Raiders and the 49ers. I was just watching how crappy the 49ers were when this guy started talking to me. He looked a little crazy, and I was right! The first thing he said to me was that he know how to say something in Mandarin Chinese. After I told him I was Korean, he asked me if I knew Chinese. After I said no, he seemed disappointed. Then he started busting out a whole bunch of bible verses and started telling me all this religious stuff. He seemed like he was pretty excited and was having fun, so I let him speak forever, since he wasn't harming me, and I could also see the game at the same time. =) I like football... =) In the middle of everything, I found out he was a Jehovah's Witness while he was saying something to the effect of "the Jehovah's Witnesses are the only organization in the whole world that is following the bible and will be saved." Yeah, and I didn't see Alex Smith do anything good. Wasn't he the number 1 pick? And the 49ers defense looks pretty weak, or the Broncos offense was really clicking. Well, he continued to talk, and I continued to listen/watch the game. He also had this funny analogy where we are all bowling balls, hehehe... AND, throughout the ENTIRE time, he always referred to my wife and son. I guess he assumed I had a wife and son. That's a strange assumption to make. O yeah, and he thought I was a doctor. hahaha!!! I told him I study computer science, and he said, "Oh, well I thought you were a doctor. You look like a doctor, right?" hahaha!! I have no idea what that means, but I thought it was funny! =) How do doctors even look? I was wearing an Every Time I Die shirt, shorts, and sandals. Do doctors listen to hardcore? =) And he really liked Mandarin Chinese, and I think he really wanted me to know it. He told me about all the Mandarin Chinese Jehovah's Witness meetings and bible studies. He wanted me to bring my wife and son, too... =) hahaha!!! This guy was pretty crazy, and his speech was pretty entertaining. He went on for about 45 minutes, and then I left because my feet were tired. And I was/am/will be hungry.

Guitar Songs

I found another song I want to learn how to play on the guitar. Funeral For A Friend - Your Revolution Is A Joke. The other song I wanted to learn (but haven't because it's really hard) is Aftershock - Letters. Both are acoustic, with no screaming so you should download (both are on my server) and listen to them. At least this one seems easier to learn than the Aftershock one...

Pria Bars Research

After extensive research, I have made my conclusions about Pria bars. The clear winner in taste is the cookies n' caramel flavor. A distant second is the caramel nut brownie, and a close third is the peanut butter caramel nut. The cookies n' caramel isn't just tolerable to win the best taste award, it's actually really good. Yeah, I know, Pria bars are for women, especially since there is a woman dancing or something on the wrapper. It's supposed to be a good source of folic acid, which is good for pregnant women to lessen the chances of birth defects. BUT, it is also good for general health and it can reduce chances of heart disease and stroke. ALSO, it could increase sperm count! I have no idea if any of this crap is true, since I found it on the crazy thing called the internet, but yeah, folic acid can actually be good for me! Not only does it subdue my extreme hunger during the day, it also keeps me alive longer and gives me more sperm!

So, the summary is:
a) cookies n' caramel Pria bars taste really really yummy!
b) folic acid is good for men too.
c) my end date of my internship is way too late... I'll be stuck working all day while others will be playing all day... poop. I'm stupid.
d) I'm stupid. (this should be its own item)

*shiver...*

Apparently, there is no hot water in the apartment, so I just had to take the coldest (and shortest) shower. Brrr...

Summer Workout Update!

I am about halfway through the summer, thus meaning I am about halfway through my summer workout plan. I think it has been going pretty well. I am very consistent with going to the gym, and I have been running more. However, recently I have lessened the sustainted running (mostly because my right heel kinda hurts) in favor of more interval sprints. I even went swimming once! =O And I do believe I have positive results so far. I can see my muscles easier, but I don't know if it's due to the loss of fat, gain of muscle, or both. In any case, it's posi!!! woohoo!!! I just have to stay committed to my workout for the rest of the summer, and hope for more good results.

Not eating everything in sight WAS a bit difficult at first, but now I am quite used to it. However, my weakness is korean food! Since I do not regularly (or ever) eat korean food at school, when I get a chance to eat it, I can't and don't pass it up. And I eat a lot of it too... =)
