Soaked!

I went to a hardcore show tonight! Misery Signals, Remembering Never, Emery and Eighteen Visions played in San Francisco, in some random warehouse-ish place on some pier. It was actually pretty big and the were lots of people. I think there were close to 200 people there, which is pretty big. I took some pictures, but they all look crappy since it was hard to hold the camera above everyone. The first 6 are of Misery Signals, the next 3 are of Remembering Never, the next 3 are of Emery and the last 2 are of Eighteen Visions. The only crappy thing about the experience was that I had to wait in line for an hour before the show. In the rain. I was completely soaked when the show started. I was actually wet the entire night until I dried off after a shower... It was also a little tricky getting there, since the exit I was supposed to get off at was closed, and I had to take some other random one. I even got another Misery Signals shirt because I really liked the design. It looks like an Edmonton Oilers jersey but it says Misery Signals where it should say "Oilers". It's cool.

Panoramas

I took some pictures of the Stanford campus and stitched them into panoramas. That's not too exciting, but the best part is that I created the program that automatically generated the image mosaics! It was one of the assignments for my computer vision class and it actually worked better than I expected! Most of the panoramas are of random places at Stanford, and one is from Tahoe. It's not hard to tell which one that is... =) Something else that's interesting is that I took the Tahoe pictures way before the project was assigned. It's pretty cool that some of the crap I'm studying is actually useful outside of the classroom.

The Superbowl is tomorrow, but unfortunately I have to study for 3 midterms. I have compilers on Monday, and databases and computer vision on Tuesday. I MIGHT have to work and watch football at the same time... =/ O well, I should sleep now. I'm tired.
