1% vs. 2%
Well, today's running session sucked... Right after I starting running, my foot started hurting. I stopped and massaged it a little and started back up again, but it was still very uncomfortable. I was sad but not sad, if you know what I mean. It's a weird type of "pain" because it feels more like the foot is not bending correctly, and causing me discomfort. Maybe it's because I have crappy, 2 year old shoes. I'll see what happens the next time I attempt to run (probably on Friday).
In other "exciting" news, chocolate flavored whey protein mixes a lot worse in 1% milk than in 2% milk. Tell me why.

You might be overpronating, in which case you need to not only get new shoes, but probably different shoes as well. They have different levels of shoes depending on how messed up your gait is, and you should probably drop by a shoe store and ask. As for the milk, I have no idea.

It's the fat content in the milk that makes a difference. It will mix better with whole than 2% if you keep going in that direction. But if you want that thicker consistency without all the fat and shit thats in milk, I'd recommend doing what I do and use skim milk but just add a tablespoon of dry, sugar-free instant pudding mix in with the whey and the milk. Works great and much better for you than 2% or whole milk. You shouldnt drink milk often anyway. From all my years studying nutrition, I've seen way more studies showing it to do more harm than good. Milk lacks essential fatty acids humans need for neurological development, particularly as infants. Babies drinking whole milk in their first two years develop allergies, colic and diabetes...milk causes internal bleeding in children, which contributes to anemia, which is why you're not even supposed to try and give it to a child under 2. Milk protein attacks the immune system - Cow's milk has pesticides, chemicals, hormones, blood, pus, and bacteria from mastitis (udder infection)which the USDA and FDA mostly dont test for. A lot of studies show significant correlations between milk and lung and ovarian cancers and leukemia. It's the animal fat in milk which triggers the growth of cancer cells, so the fattier the milk the worse it is for you. At least half of adults are lactose intolerant, which basically shows you that cow's milk was never intended for human consumption. Seriously, who was the first fucking moron who saw little dicks hanging from a cow and thought, "hey there's white shit coming out of that cow, lets drink it!" And on an interesting side note, milk consumption does not protect women from osteoporosis...and in fact may cause it. The body withdraws calcium from the bones to neutralize the proteins and lactic acids in milk. So limit your intake...and dont show this to the American Dairy Association.
