Twitter Updates

I don't really use twitter, but I added a section to the side of my blog that will display my recent tweets. It might start getting more active once I get it to update with my gmail status messages, if that is even possible... =)

Crappy ATT Experience

I justed wanted to transfer my DSL service to my new apartment. I called over a week before I moved in and they assured me that it would be turned on at the new place on that Friday. As expected, the service turned off at the old place on moving day. However, at the new place, there was no service. Ok, maybe there is a delay...

I waited another day. Still nothing. I called them, and of course there is tons of holding and tons of transferring. Someone actually helps me and does all these line tests. They all thought the DSL should have been fine. The next day, someone called me back and said the line was fine, so obviously I needed someone to come and fix something because I still saw blinking red lights.

On Monday, I called ATT again and after about an hour of holding and transferring, I get an appointment scheduled for Wednesday morning. They give me a range 8AM to 12 NOON, which is pretty long, but whatever, I could just go into work after that.

Wednesday morning comes around and no one shows for a couple hours. I called ATT again, and after 30 minutes of holding and transferring, I get a live person to talk to, and he said that ATT cancelled my appointment. The cancelled my appointment without telling me!! Apparently, they fixed some other problem the night before, and lumped my issue with that solution, so they just didn't come. So, I waited for hours for nothing, and I still had no internet. STUPID!

Not only did they cancel on me without contacting me, but then they couldn't do anything to make up for it. They couldn't accelerate an appointment, or have some non-work hour time. Also, they couldn't prioritize me at all, or give me at least a smaller window of waiting. I figured they could have at least tried to make up for their incompetence, but no, they stayed true to the word.

I rescheduled for Friday, and FINALLY someone showed up. It took almost 2 hours to get everything working, and now, after a week battling with ATT, service is back to normal...

On a random note, Herie is making me say I love her, so I guess I love her... =)

Crappy JetBlue Experience

I had a horrible time getting home from Christmas with JetBlue. I was supposed to fly home Friday night, but as I was about drive to the airport, JetBlue called me to tell me that my flight was canceled. It took a while to reschedule, but I got a new flight the next night from OAK.

That was ok so far... I got to the airport at 10:30pm for my 11:30pm flight. I found out that the flight was delayed, to leave at 1:15am. Ok, that sucked. I waited for a while and the plane never showed up. The arriving flight came in at 1:30am. Then, at around 2:00am, they tell us that we couldn't begin boarding because they had no first officer. They found one, but he was in a hotel an hour away, so we wouldn't be able to board until 3:00am. Dang, that sucked. So, we didn't board at 3, but started at 3:30am, and took off at 4:00am. Crap.

I took off after I would have arrived if the flight wasn't delayed. Booo...

I'm so tired.

Bubbles is now complete!!!

I just got the license plate, "BE POSI" for Bubbles. She is now perfect and complete. She has a subwoofer, tinted windows, and "BE POSI"!! Woohoo!! =)

Nature can be cheesy

We went up to visit Jess and Point Reyes National Seashore. It was pretty cool, with nice beaches, and ocean and stuff. If you're not allergic to cheesy pictures, go ahead and check out some pictures! =)

Winning Redskins!

The Washington Redskins are winning in probably the toughest/best division in the NFC and the NFL. The Redskins were supposed to be the worst team in the division, but we have already beaten the Cowboys and Eagles (both away games)!! Go Redskins, and yay football!! =)
